Founder & Director

Dr Wesam Amer is the Founder and Director of Frontline World, providing strategic leadership across research, advisory, training and international partnerships.

He advises organisations at the intersection of media and communication, technology, AI, conflict, and public discourse — helping leaders make sense of complex and politically sensitive environments.

His international academic and professional experience spans Palestine, the UK, Germany and the United States, with experience associated with institutions including Cambridge, Newcastle, Harvard and Hamburg.

He previously served as Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication and Languages at Gaza University, where he contributed to institutional development, course innovation, quality assurance, research strategy and academic capacity building.

At Frontline World, he leads the company’s strategic development, oversees research and advisory projects, develops partnerships and coordinates multidisciplinary teams around complex challenges.
